# Block bots

 * Unfortunately our statistics are not reliable, since there is a lot of traffic
   of foreign bots. Do you have any recommendations to get rid of these bots? Or
   how to block them all? Thanks in advance.

 * Consider turning on Matomo Referrer in settings. It helps stop robots from being
   counted.

 * Matomo Referrer is turned on. Unfortunately it doesn’t do the trick.

 * In this case, I’d prefer to enable **Honey Pot **and set a number for **Robot
   Visit Threshold** in **Settings → Exclusions**
