 * I have found Sermon Manager starts starts with the Block Editor at the top of
the page, which I can edit and add to easily. This block editor reacts with Yoast
SEO and I have no issues. However, the content does not display on the frontend.

If I duplicate the content to the original paragraph section which is lower on
the page, it will show on the frontend, but Yoast SEO does not see it. All the
usual fields are accessible and function as expected. If I save and exit, then
go back to edit for any reason, the block editor opens as the classic editor
and all info entered in the first block is there but loses all formatting. All
other blocks and content created disappear. I have to convert this back to blocks,
then re-enter the information and links previously created. Is this a setting
that I am missing? I am using the free version.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fblock-editor-changes%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * What specifically does Yoast NOT see?

 * Hello [@hikinmike](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hikinmike/) when the entry
is made in the original paragraph editor, Yoast does not find the comment and
therefore does not analyze it. It will say no content. However, the new block
editor which is separate from this is accessed Yoast SEO interprets and analyzes
   that entry.

 * Personally I wouldn’t worry about it. The content is there and Google will find
it. I use Yoast and I only use it to edit title elements if need be and set nofollow/
   follow. That’s it.

 * Hello [@hikinmike](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hikinmike/) The issue
I have is not with the Yoast analysis. What I have a challenge with is that when
I create the sermon post, it starts out with the block editor. If I have to reopen
the sermon to edit anything, the block is now a classic editor and only the text
that was in the first block remains, without any formatting or links. The additional
information entered is discarded and I have convert back to the block editor
   to re-enter and re-format everything.

 * I see. FWIW, you should be using the description in the Sermon Details to create
and edit and not the block editor.

 * Oh? 🙁 I thought this the upgrade I was hoping for so Sermon Manager would integrate
with Yoast. The Details section does not have the config Yoast uses to be able
to locate comments. Will this change be made at some point?

 * There was no mention in the Changelog about making it compatible with Yoast.
 * Like I said earlier, I would not concern yourself with the bells and whistles
in Yoast. Create your content, post it and move on. But that’s just me.

 * I’m not affiliated with Sermon Manager, just a user. You can hope, but I contacted
the developer a few days ago about a bug I posted 2+ weeks ago and I have yet
   to get a reply.

 * Oh. Thought you were affiliated.
Well, I guess I wait and see. Thanks for the
   input.
