# “Block rendered as empty” error

 * Hello, I’m excited to try your plugin, but no matter what options I choose, the
   mockup does not render. Instead, I see “Block rendered as empty.” in the Gutenberg
   editor, and nothing on the resulting page. How can I investigate this issue and
   what diagnostic info do you need? Thanks!

 * The site that I am working on is currently protected, so the following call:
   
   $response = wp_remote_get( $device_url );
 * fails in shortcode( $atts, $content = null )

 * I’ve just updated the plugin and changed the way it grabs the SVG code for the
   devices. So now it should work with protected sites.
 * Please update the plugin to the latest version and let me know if it works for
   you.
