Seems to not properly record blocking the IP addresses on some? It says, “manually blocked by administrator” but the button next to the bot still shows “block ip.” So, I would manually do it again. Then I would refresh the page and still not blocked. What’s going on here? Thank you

  • Hi @haygloba,

Could you take a screenshot, upload it to imgur.com, and paste the link here?

I think this might be caused by the database not saving the block properly. Can you check Wordfence -> Tools -> Diagnostics -> MySQL, and look under `Checking if MySQL user has UPDATE privilege
    to see if it saysOK`.

Thank you for your expedited response. And yes, it does say “ok.” I’ve included the screen shot that you’ve requested. Thanks again. Cheers

    Hi again!

Can you open DevTools (F12 on chrome), and see if there’s anything showing up within the Console or Network?

This is what I see for the Network tab: https://i.imgur.com/drxMHVS.png

And for the console tab: https://i.imgur.com/gp1JknY.png

Can you also tell me your WordPress version? There have been some reports of issues when upgrading WordPress to 5.

    Hi again!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved. If you’re still having issues with Wordfence, please feel free to open another thread!
