# Blocking Issue

 * Seems to not properly record blocking the IP addresses on some? It says, “manually
   blocked by administrator” but the button next to the bot still shows “block ip.”
   So, I would manually do it again. Then I would refresh the page and still not
   blocked. What’s going on here? Thank you

 * Could you take a screenshot, upload it to imgur.com, and paste the link here?
 * I think this might be caused by the database not saving the block properly. Can
   you check Wordfence -> Tools -> Diagnostics -> MySQL, and look under `Checking
   if MySQL user has UPDATE privilege
    `to see if it says`OK`.

 * Can you open DevTools (F12 on chrome), and see if there’s anything showing up
   within the Console or Network?

 * Can you also tell me your WordPress version? There have been some reports of 
   issues when upgrading WordPress to 5.
