 * Hi,
 * I have just decided to try out Google official plugin to connect analytics and
tag manager with website. We used GTM4WP previously and all tags run from Tag
   manager.
 * After reading about Site Kit it seemed like it could help speeding up all the
third party scripts but it seems not doing it. Still having issues with website
speed and to pass google speed tests because of third party scripts.
 * Google now asks to – Reduce the impact of third-party code and points at tag
   manager and facebook.
 * I would appreciate some help with my setup and find out way to load analytics
so it would not block other requests and slow the site down.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fblocking-scripts-issue-site-speed%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Glad to hear of your willingness to try out Site Kit for Tag Manager and Analytics,
and great to hear of your emphasis on site performance.

 * When you’re using Site Kit to place your Analytics and Tag Manager snippets,
the plugin inserts these snippets as advised by these services, with the snippets
appearing similar to manually inserted snippets without using the plugin. With
regards performance, you’ll encounter the same performance impact as with a manually
placed snippet based on the same snippets used and the same network requests
made to connect your site with these services. We have a [guide on the plugin website](https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/documentation/using-site-kit/site-kit-modules-and-your-sites-source-code/)
with regards to what Site Kit inserts on a users site. By reviewing this you’ll
notice the snippets are in line with what Analytics and Tag Manager suggest.

 * Unfortunately when it comes to network requests, such as connecting your site
to Tag Manager, to Facebook via their pixel service, there can be a trade off
with performance and there can be many factors in this, including latency, server
performance and more. While we’re limited to Site Kit queries here in the plugin
support forums, you may wish to consider all the different tags and services
you’re adding to your site via Tag Manager. We also have a [guide on the plugin website](https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/documentation/using-site-kit/front-end/)
   in relation to performance.

 * While this is outside the scope of what we can support here, you may wish to
investigate additional methods of improving performance for your site. This may
include adopting [AMP](https://amp-wp.org), reviewing the [Performance Lab plugin](https://www.google.com/search?q=performance+lab+plugin&rlz=1C1GCCU_en-gb&oq=Performance+Lab+plugin&aqs=chrome.0.0i512j0i22i30j69i60l2.655j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8),
or making use of PageSpeed Insights for some WordPress specific suggestions.
