 * So I currently have the basic free plan set up on my staging site. While I understand
   that CookieYes will do a scan of your site and create a list of all that were
   found, I’m having issues understanding which cookie category(s) are automatically
   blocked and how to manually set them. It seems if I manually add a cookie in
   the ‘uncategorized’ category, the cookie is still being set.
 * Also, on this page [here](https://benjaminfedstg.wpengine.com/search), there
   is a cookie called ‘.answers-embed.benjaminfedwards.com.pagescdn.com’ that seems
   to be coming from cloudflare(‘__cf_bm’) and is only set when that specific page
   is visited and then disappears when exited. Would this be considered a third-
   party cookie? And if so, how would I go about automatically blocking it until
   the user gives consent?
 * I’m a total novice when it comes to cookies so any insight and/or guidance would
   be much appreciated. And, if necessary, I’m willing to upgrade my plan to make
   things easier. Thanks
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fblocking-specific-scripts-and-basic-functionality%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi [@kolleradam](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kolleradam/),
 * Greetings from CookieYes!
 * In-order to block a cookie prior to consent, you should add that cookie to any
   non-necessary category. Also make sure that you have added the respective cookie
   setting script’s pattern as the **Script URL Pattern** inside the “advanced options”
   of that cookie. If the cookie is set as “HttpOnly”, then it won’t be possible
   to block them.
