# Blockquote need help

 * Hi,
 * Our theme designer created a blockquote in our css file and it is not displaying
   correctly. Can anyone suggest a ‘tweak’ to make it work right?
 * This is the code he wrote
 * blockquote p{
    color:#666; background:#eee; margin:0 0 1.6em 0.8em; padding: 
   20px; border-left:5px solid #0A79D4; }

 * Try using Firefox with the [Firebug add-on](http://getfirebug.com/) for this 
   kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your
   web browser.

 * I took a quick look and have to admit I don’t see the problem.

 * As it was written the solid line on the left broke apart to match the paragraphs.
   I removed the p and it works fine. Solid line on left.
 * Used Firebug to help.
 * Thank you!
