# Blog Permalink Question

 * Hello,
 * The conundrum is this…
 * I have a static page at [http://www.domain.com](http://www.domain.com). My blog
   is at [http://www.domain.com/blog](http://www.domain.com/blog)
 * Obviously both posts and pages follow the specified permalink structure which
   I have setup as /%postname%/.
 * Everything works as expected until i navigate to an individual post within my
   blog. It too follows the rule of /%postname%/ by creating the URL [http://www.domain.com/this-is-a-post/](http://www.domain.com/this-is-a-post/).
 * But I don’t want individual posts to be there. I want it to be within the blog
   directory at [http://www.domain.com/blog/this-is-a-post/](http://www.domain.com/blog/this-is-a-post/).
   In other words, a permalink structure of /blog/%postname%/.
 * How can i force a different permalink structure for posts only? I have seen several
   blogs that do this, it must be possible.
 * I would really appreciate any help.

 * I really don’t want to have two wordpress’s running. Theres got to be a better
   solution.
