• I’m hoping someone can help me – I’m having an awful day. I’ll try to explain as best I can.

I’m using the Tesseract theme with Beaver Builder (Reading settings show the Front Page as Home and nothing is set as the Posts page).

Up until yesterday my Blog page and posts were fine. My Blog page showed featured images and excerps, and recent posts, etc were displayed on the right.

My blog posts started displaying html yesterday. If I view individual posts (via WordPress, no html is showing.)

All of my posts were set to Full Width Page when I created them and, up until yesterday, this is how they displayed. However, now a left sidebar is showing.

I’ve deleted the Blog page and created a new one but when I add the blog module (that comes with the theme), blogs are not compact and html is showing. This also happens if I don’t use Beaver Builder and set the Reading settings Posts page as the Blog page.

I’ve spent all day trying to fix this and I’m absolutely demented. My web host had problems yesterday and my site was down quite a lot. I’ve asked them if this could have caused the problem but they’re adamant that it hasn’t. They suggested that I look at the scripts but I have absolutely no idea how to do that.

    Can anyone help please?

Thank you for your reply πŸ™‚ It’s the blog page. I removed it about an hour ago because it looks really bad. I’ve just added it back and you can view it here – http://quinnsne.co.uk/blog-10/ Also, if you click on the heading of a blog, the display is all wrong too. I’ve tried changing themes and that doesn’t make a difference so it isn’t a problem with the theme.

checked out the blog page. Have you customized the theme? are there any customized templates that you are using?

I’m using the Tesseract theme which contains a blog module. The only other thing I’ve added to the page is the purple bit at the top with the text MAKE LIFE EASIER. I must stress that this worked okay until Sunday.

I haven’t made any changes to it since then

OK . can you edit the post and remove all the HTML tags, code tags and formatting that you have added. Basically a simple plain text input in the text editor.

I’ve removed the html from the second blog and yet it’s still showing on the blog page

the issue comes when you use html tags in your editor. I am not sure how you are doing it. Once you figure out how to use them problem you can
Probably you can check out some howtos on web on using the editor and inserting html tags and formatting.
I did not see any html in second blog post
