# Bootstrap Shortcodes

 * This is a great theme, thank you!
    I am using the free version of Tonic and I
   am having trouble with the bootstrap shortcodes.
 * I had to install this plugin [https://github.com/TheWebShop/bootstrap-shortcodes](https://github.com/TheWebShop/bootstrap-shortcodes)
   to make it work, but from [the documentation](http://demos.bavotasan.com/tonic-pro/shortcodes/)
   I should be able to just write
 * `[button]some button text[/button]`
 * Am I missing something?

 * I found a solution if anyone is looking, unfortunately shortcodes still don’t
   work.
 * looking at the source code of [the documentation](http://demos.bavotasan.com/tonic-pro/shortcodes/)
 * Instead of writing: `[button]Default[/button]`
 * You can write: `<button type="button" class="btn">Default</button>` and achieve
   the same result.
