Firefox only supports free codecs and H.264 is not free. If you want to support users who don’t have Flash installed you would have to create an alternate format. Firefox can play WEBM or OGV. * To make a single video popup, make a gallery with only one video. Flash players have a hard time with MP4 videos that don’t have “fast start” enabled. So they don’t start playing until the whole video has downloaded. More specifically, the MOOV atom has to be at the head of the file rather than the end. It looks like you used FFMPEG to make your videos. FFMPEG doesn’t have the option to make videos with the proper MOOV atom configuration. In order to fix the problem you’ll need to run a utility like qt-faststart or MP4box which will fix the headers.
