Bot doesn’t post scheduled posts to Discord channel | ww.wp.xz.cn

Hey!

We started using your plugin recently and have realised that the plugin only pushes posts to Discord when they’re manually published. Scheduled posts on the other hand don’t get pushed to our channel.

Any suggestions?

I am able to replicate your error and I will work on a bug fix. I’ll let you know here when the fix is released.

Hey @rspraymond,

That’s good to hear. It’s also worth noting that when the plugin does post to our Discord channel, it actually posts a preview URL, not the actual URL for the post. Discord flags this as a suspicious link, which isn’t ideal.

The plugin uses what WordPress gives back for get_permalink function.

I’m not sure why your setup would return a preview link.

Version 0.3.5 was just released. This release should fix the issue with future posts.
