Breadcrumbs as shortcode?

    We try to switch from WPocean to GeneratePress and for whatever reason GP Pro doesn’t provide an option to add breadcrumbs. They advice to use Yoast and their shortcode…. Well has SEO framework a shortcode to insert the breadcrumbs into the featured image header?

    Hello,

    SEO plugins should not output content. This is one of the rare instances I do not agree with GeneratePress.

    So, no, TSF does not provide a shortcode.

    Please see if a plugin such as Breadcrumb NavXT works for you, which provides such a shortcode. In an upcoming update of TSF, I’ve planned to add primary-term support.

    The breadcrumbs feature will also come natively to WordPress Core, one day.
