    Hi there,

I am using Yoast SEO Breadcrumbs on my site. It works good, I use it on many different pages with the shortcode [wpseo_breadcrumb].

How is it possible to style the breadcumbs with css? I tried with p#breadcrumbs {}; .breadcrumbs{}; .breadcrumbs span {} and so on, but it´s not working unfortunately?

Have you the correct CSS class for me?

    Hope for your reply,
    Alex

    Hello Alex,

Thanks for reaching out regarding the Yoast breadcrumb styling.

The option to change the styling of the Yoast SEO breadcrumbs is not provided by the plugin. The style for the different elements of your website (including the breadcrumbs) is provided by your theme.

If you want to change the styling of some of the elements, we usually recommend identifying the appropriate CSS selectors (as explained in this article) and then changing them to your liking using a plugin like Simple Custom CSS. This plugin will allow you to add your own CSS code to your theme. The CSS changes you add to the plugin will be kept even when the theme is updated.

    Hi Maybellyne,

thanks for your reply. Ok understand, but is it possible to add in your shortcode [wpseo_breadcrumb] a class attribute? Because the shortcode turn the breadcrumbs in a normal <span></span> attribute with no classes.
