 * I have broadcasting on by default (for Twitter), but whenever I schedule a post
it still takes me to an intermediary page asking me to check off the post for
broadcasting. Is there a way to remove this step and just have every single post
   default to broadcast?

 * Right, building on the discussion here [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/twitter-tools-30-nows-lacks-automatic-tweeting-of-new-posts-when-published](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/twitter-tools-30-nows-lacks-automatic-tweeting-of-new-posts-when-published)
it would be great to have “automatic Broadcasting” without editing of the Tweet
whenever a Post is Scheduled or Published.

 * Scheduled posts will be broadcast when they are published (using the broadcast
messages you set when scheduling the post).
 * Social 2.6 is fixing the “tweet not sent when scheduled post or XMLRPC post is
published” bug – try the release candidate:

 * Thanks Alex, that sounds great.
 * But there is still that second page: after an editor clicks “Publish” or “Schedule”,
a second page still opens for Social that asks to confirm/edit the contents of
   the tweet. What [@sheerheartattack](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sheerheartattack/)
and I are saying is it would be nice to not have that second page and instead
have tweeting automatically handled in the background once a Post is set to either“
   Publish” or “Schedule”.

 * Yep, that would require some customization, but all of the parts should be there
for you – you just need to connect them as desired.
 * Worth noting, publishing via email or XMLRPC will give you exactly what you want.

 * Hi Alex,
 * When you say “publishing via email or XMLRPC will give you exactly what you want”
do you mean in WordPress, Settings, Writing, check the box to enable XML-RPC
and that will make scheduled posts be broadcast?
 * Thanks,
    Ken

 * I’m interested in this as well. I have software that can publish via XMLRPC,
but I like to publish via the WP admin interface when possible. I just like the
interface better. So it would be nice to skip the extra step.
 * Alex, what exactly do you mean by “all the parts should be there for you – you
just need to connect them as desired”?

 * Yeah I got tired of parsing the cryptic messages on this and other threads too.
I could not exactly follow if the idea was for us to or pay for the development
or to do the development ourselves. Plus I was upset when I saw on 2 of our blogs
that have over 100,000 Posts on each and about 10,000 tweets that somehow Twitter
Tools placed all the Tweets in the Posts area…. I guess that happened during
the initial upgrade process. Again, it was my fault for not testing it first —
but I had grown to trust the AK plugins.
 * So I deleted Twitter Tools and Social and instead am using [NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/social-networks-auto-poster-facebook-twitter-g/).
It is a fantastic plugin with lots of abilities, and I may upgrade to the paid
   version soon too.
 * I will monitor Twitter Tools and Social, and if they start having more functionality
I want to also support AK and may add it back to some of the blogs we oversee.

 * > Alex, what exactly do you mean by “all the parts should be there for you –
   > you just need to connect them as desired”?
 * The base functionality exists in the code, it would just need to be connected
differently to do what you want. Someone would need to write some code to create
the feature as you want it since it doesn’t work that way now.
