Broadening post area

    Hi guys,

    I’m not sure whether this is the correct place to post this, as I’m a newbie when it comes to CSS etc.

    I’ve noticed that WordPress themes in general tend to have large white margins on either side of the page. Is there any way to edit the margins and broaden the posting area?

    . Ideally I’d be able to broaden the page slightly by narrowing the white space margins. When you’re reading a post (e.g. here) the right sidebar would simply move further towards the edge of the page.

    As things stand, I’m somewhat restricted in the images I can post etc.

    Hope someone can help. If this is in the wrong section just let me know where it should go and I’ll post it there:)

    Oh, and I’m using the Imbalance theme by WPShower. Would post on their website but nobody seems to reply to queries there anyway.
