Broken formcraft code error

I downloaded the formcraft plugin originally in Feb. I had upgraded to the premium version and it worked fine with no issues.

Fast forward six months, I downgraded to the free version temporarily. I couldn’t find the original file I downloaded, so I downloaded this plugin file. Now I have a broken code error for a simple Contact Us form that doesn’t display on my website.

This is the error

Broken FormCraft code. Please do not alter the code snippet. If you are using our WordPress plugin, please update to the latest version.

For clarity, the two plugin files are incompatible so I’m unsure of what to do.
