Title: Broken Permalink Last modified: August 20, 2016 --- # Broken Permalink * [gregre](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gregre/) * (@gregre) * [14 years ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/broken-permalink-2/) * Hello, * My website worked fine until this morning. * I have four Posts on my Homepage (www.glassandchocolate.com) They are set up to point to separate Gallery Pages ([http://www.glassandchocolate.com/abstractions-in-broken-glass/litany-of-unintended-consequences](http://www.glassandchocolate.com/abstractions-in-broken-glass/litany-of-unintended-consequences)) but for some reason this morning they point to ([http://www.glassandchocolate.com/abstractions-in-broken-glasslitany-of-unintended-consequences](http://www.glassandchocolate.com/abstractions-in-broken-glasslitany-of-unintended-consequences)) dropping the forward slash (/). * I tried to change the Permalink in Edit Post but when I click OK the edit drops the forward slash (/) and continually gives me the wrong re-direct. * I have looked at the WP using Permalink page but didn’t see anything regarding dysfunctional URL’s. But the problem still persists. For some reason the Permalink URL doesn’t want to keep the (/) between the First and Second Levels. * I do remember that I installed WP Single Post Navigation plugin last night and noticed that all my Blog Posts including the ones restricted to the splashpage got lumped into the same navigation menu when they should have remained separate. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). * – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems. * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F) by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. But something tells me it is related to that particular plugin. I have disabled all my plugins and reactivated them but the links still won’t point to the Gallery Page. And the Permalinks still won’t accept the (/). Do you think there has been some code corrupted in the stylesheet by a plugin that I deleted? * Should I reinstall the css stylesheet? I think because it is a Level 1 menu page. The others go to the individual post.
