# Broken Site After http to https Attempt

 * I’m the admin for website which was set up years before I took it over. I was
   in the settings and was attempting to switch our site url from http:// to https://
   After I saved the new url, I got kicked out of the backend and the entire site
   is now broken, I can’t even access the backend editor anymore.
 * Is there a way to fix this?

 * Support for SSL is something that needs to be done on the server level, i.e. 
   outside of WordPress. Contact their customer support about enabling HTTPS/SSL.
