# Broken Theme

 * Greetings and Salutations!
 * I am an old developer trying out WordPress for the first time. I purchased a 
   template called Ubercop and downloaded it without a second thought. I have been
   developing with little or no problems since then; however, I looked at the bottom
   of the Themes page where the following message was blinking at me:
    The following
   themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
 * Ubercorp Child The parent theme is missing. Please install the “Ubercorp” parent
   theme.
 * How is this accomplished?

 * Does the stylesheet file exist within your theme?
    Check your hosting for the
   stylesheet.css file, it should be located in: wp-content/themes/ubercorp/
 * Also did you create a child theme for the primary theme? When you create a child
   theme the parent theme should still exist in the themes folder and then the child
   theme will exist in its own folder with the custom files you are modifying from
   the original theme content. for example:
 * wp-content/themes/ubercorp/ and wp-content/themes/ubercorp-child/
 * The child theme would be something you had to setup typically. Also check and
   verify that you have the latest update of the theme. Always create a backup of
   all the WordPress files and your database before running updates in case you 
   need to restore back if something fails or goes wrong.
