    Hello!

Love the theme, but after the recent update I’ve run into a couple of issues.

One: The 3×3 grid layout on the home page does not display image thumbnails. I noticed that one of the images on the theme demo itself also has this problem: http://themes.wptheming.com/portfolio/

I’ve attempted to regenerate the thumbnails many times with no success, but I don’t think that would be the problem anyway since I haven’t changed anything, much less thumbnail sizes.

Two: I originally had my website laid out in the blog style where images would be the full width of the page instead of in a 3×3 grid. I’d prefer to revert to that layout, but can’t seem to do so. I assume I’m missing something embarrassingly simple, but I can’t find it.

I’ve also tried completely removing and reinstalling the theme, which didn’t fix anything.

    Here’s my website: http://stuarticulated.com/

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Hi. To get your images to appear, you’ll need to set them as a “Featured Image”. Watch the video if you’re not quite sure how to do this: http://wptheming.com/portfolio-press/

The update defaults to display image/gallery post types as grid. If you’d prefer to go back to the previous look, you’ll need to change your posts back to a “standard” post (rather than an image format). Sorry that this change is not exactly what you want, but I’ve found it’s best for the vast majority of people using the theme.

Another option is to simply roll back to the previous version: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/portfolio-press/developers/ (1.8)

After you upload the previous version, change the version in styles.css to 100 so you won’t get the update notice.

Funny, I could have sworn that I had set them as a “Featured Image” but it appears that I missed that somehow. Thanks for pointing it out!

Oh, I see. I thought I had broken something unintentionally. I agree that it is probably the best setup for most people using the theme, so no worries there. I can just set them up as you said, or maybe I’ll just keep the grid layout. It’s growing on me.

Thanks again for your help and for this great theme!
