# Browser Back Button

 * hey guys, i have quick question regarding forminators multi step form … currently
   the situation is as follows: user comes to the form from Source X – user starts
   multistep form and follows the steps… and if he wants for some reason to change
   something from a previous step and presses the browser back button (instead of
   the forms back button) he gets back to Source X instead of the previous step.
   Is it possible to return the user to the previous step instead? in my opinion
   this is very vital to a multi step form (gravity forms can do that for example)…
   can you help me with that? thanks!

 * This happens as the form is Ajax based. At the moment this is not possible, but
   I’ve forwarded your question to our developers. Once there will be an update

 * i think it would also be great if the previously entered data would be preserved–
   by pressing the browser back button everything is lost… don’t know if this is
   possible.

 * Our developers have added your suggestion and a feature request, so it will be
   reviewed and if it is possible to develop it will be added as a new feature to
   a plugin.
