 * I am trying to build up a website and switched themes but now I have an issue
   with the PHP for Hummingbird was incompatible. So when I checked Hummingbird
   with their status check and got this message
 * Browser Caching is not working properly:
 * – Your server may not have the “expires” module enabled (mod_expires for Apache,
   ngx_http_headers_module for NGINX)
    – Another plugin may be interfering with
   the configuration
 * I tried resetting it only for it to say that
 * File type
    Recommended expiry Current expiry
 * JavaScript
    1 year false
 * CSS
    1 year false
 * Media
    1 year false
 * Images
    1 year false

 * Hello there [@katmarand](https://wordpress.org/support/users/katmarand/)
 * Switching themes shouldn’t cause that, as browser caching is mainly a web server
   setup (either if it’s Apache, Nginx or anything else you might be using).
 * Which server type do you use?
    Keep in mind that Apache servers are using **.
   htaccess** file, so you can try to access this file and make sure the browser
   caching rules are added there. If that’s the case but it seems like it’s still
   deactivated, then you should contact your hosting provider to ensure that the
   proper modules are installed.
