 * Recently I started a new blog, where I tried to create the design more or less
   from scratch. One problem that I faced, however, was the compatibility among
   different browsers.
 * Right now I think the blog should be running smooth both on Firefox and IE 5.
   and 6.. But I am not sure, and would also like to know what the site looks like
   on Opera, Safari and IE 7.
 * If any of you guys use those browsers to navigate could you please hit the blog
   for a second and report whether it looks ok of if there are any misalignments
   or other problems?
 * You can visit it over [http://www.dailyblogtips.com](http://www.dailyblogtips.com)
 * Thanks in advance.

 * It’s pretty, and readable, but there’s A LOT of whitespace.
 * Do you really plan on adding one tip a day? If you do, or maybe even not, I would
   list one post per page (for now atleast). Unless and until you can fill out your
   sidebar some.
 * It looks fine in Firefox 1.5.x but in ie7, your home, about, and contact links
   are floated up on top of your ‘Daily Blog Tips” title. (Theyre overlapped, if
   that makes better sense.) It’s not like that in ie6 either.
 * Other than that, I dont see anything that sticks out that looks too broke.
 * I also reccomend validating :
 * [http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.dailyblogtips.com/](http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.dailyblogtips.com/)
 * Imo, as a site that puports to offer tips to other bloggers you really out to
   present a “valid” site.
 * Once thats done, you can always hit up this link too:
 * [http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css2&warning=2&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailyblogtips.com%2F](http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css2&warning=2&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailyblogtips.com%2F)
 * Lastly, and not least, theres accessibilty to consider:
 * [http://www.contentquality.com/mynewtester/cynthia.exe?rptmode=-1&url1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailyblogtips.com%2F](http://www.contentquality.com/mynewtester/cynthia.exe?rptmode=-1&url1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailyblogtips.com%2F)
 * While validation of XHTML and CSS and adherence to to the 508 standards might
   not seem tied to someone’s browser — they most certainly are.
 * Good luck!

 * thanks for the info man, I appreciate
 * so you just found a problem with IE7 while ffox and IE6 were ok?
 * also i do plan to validate it, most of the errors currently listed are minor
   ones, but first I want to get the design working on all the browsers.
