# Bug causing errors in MalCare Security plugin

 * This plugin has some bug / causes some conflits with the ‘MalCare Security – 
   Free Malware Scanner, Protection & Security for WordPress’ ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/malcare-security/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/malcare-security/))
   plugin.
 * Error logs attached for reference as well:
     PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError:
   call_user_func(): Argument #1 ($callback) must be a valid callback, function “\
   Mediavine\Grow\API\V1\SettingsSchema\get_general_settings” not found or invalid
   function name in /mnt/BLOCKSTORAGE/home/248155.cloudwaysapps.com/rdpcatedgz/public_html/
   wp-content/plugins/social-pug/inc/class-settings-api.php:220
 * Here are the detailed logs as well:

 * Thanks so much for reaching out to us about this. I’ve installed this plugin 
   on a test site and it doesn’t look like I’m able to replicate the same issue.
   Just to confirm, if you disable Malcare do the PHP errors stop occurring?
 * Also, is this with the Premium version of that plugin or the free version?

 * I’m using the premium version as installed via my hosting provider Cloudways.
 * The issue was when I disable this social plugin Malcare works great. When I activate
   it Malcare gives errors conflicts with it.

 * Thanks for getting back to us and so sorry for the delay. So far we haven’t been
   able to reproduce the issue with the Free version of Malcare so I went ahead 
   and ran the error by our plugin engineers.
 * What they’re thinking is it could potentially be a bad install with that plugin
   or ours. Would you be able to try removing and re-adding Grow Social as well 
   as Malcare (if at all possible).
