[Plugin: Custom Taxonomies] bug in saving post with custom taxonomy?

    I noticed that when I add tags to a custom taxonomy in Edit Post, update that post so it’s saved to the DB, then go back to the Edit Posts list and change that post’s *date* by using “Quick Edit”, the custom tax tags are gone when I look at the post again! That’s rather unexpected behavior… What can be wrong? (am using WP 2.9.2)

    To help others help you, you might list the plugin that is providing the custom taxonomies, or put the pertinent code in a pastebin such as wordpress.pastebin.com and report the link back here. Thanks.

    Sorry about the omission. I’m using the Custom Taxonomies plugin.

    Okay, I’ve tagged this thread with that plugin’s tag so maybe someone such as the plugin author might respond.

    Have disabled the Custom Taxonomies plugin, and simply made my own using the code of Justin Tadlock. Which is about 3 lines of standard WP code, compared to 6 separate php files of the other plugin! Am also *much* happier with the admin interface now. And my tags will remain attached to the post even if I alter its date.
    I’d say: resolved. Note to self: RTFM.
