# Bug on registration

 * Hi!
 * When a user register with an already used username or email, he had a message
   to retry with another values. But the account is registered!
    So a the second
   try, he can’t use his own email!
 * Is there parameters that I missed or is it a bug?

 * There haven’t been any recent changes in the registration validation, so I don’t
   think there’s a bug in the process. Email and username validation use WP’s own
   functions for checking that the email and username are unique and meet WP requirements.
 * Keep in mind both username and email must be unique (not used by another user)
   in order to successfully register.
