# BUG report: Cache Location

 * Hi. I changed defaul /cache to something eles /new-cache
    When i deactive plugin
   to check issue it always come back with defaul /cache. Can you update this issue?

 * Are you using an old version of the plugin? This problem was [fixed in July](https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/commit/c08d75b9c8d722cda203e866661d7e8958475af4).
 * Next time you deactivate the plugin can you check wp-content/wp-cache-config.
   php for the $cache_path variable? That points at the cache directory. It should
   be the new directory. After activating the plugin check it again (before looking
   at the settings page) just to make sure it hasn’t changed.
