 * I have found a strange bug.
    Create a custom submenu -> Set Target page for <
   Custom URL> -> Make some non-standard ULR e.g. `plugins.php?plugin_status=active`
   instead of `plugins.php`-> Make this submenu the first in the list And it will
   never receive highlight, when selected (its `<li>` container will not receive
   class=”current”) If it is either not a first element or points to a standard
   WordPress menu URL, everything works as expected

 * Thank you for the detailed report. This bug will be fixed in the next release.
   If you don’t want to wait, you can download the development version that already
   has the patch from this page:

 * Thanks for the reply, when I try to install developer version, it says, that
   the destination directory already exists, I guess I need to uninstall the plugin
   before installing developer version.
    I have read the documentation, but did
   not find any way to save my settings (e.g. export->import) is there any way to
   uninstall->install plugin without loosing them?
 * p.s. looks like the markup of this thread got messy somehow ;D
    p.p.s. I confirm,
   that the bug is fixed in dev version

 * I see you’ve already figured it out, but in case it helps anyone else reading:
   you can uninstall the plugin without deleting its settings by deleting the plugin
   directory through FTP instead of using the links on the “Plugins” page. This
   way the uninstallation script will not be run and the settings will be left untouched.
 * (And yes, there seems to be something wrong with how the forum is showing this
   thread.)

 * In my case, I had not much settings, so I just wiped them out. Your instructions
   on keeping settings is very useful thank you for it.
    Problem is completely solved,
   great plugin, great support, keep going and good luck.
