 * Hello,
since the last version I don’t like the builder I do not understand the
interest, the system before was good. Otherwise, i can not automatically create
a new lesson. If I go through the builder the url newlesson is automatically
added and it needs to be changed by hand. If I created a new lesson by the menu,
I can not assign it to a course and the builder tells me each time: Invalid course
ID I love LifterLMS but not at all that builder that seems useless. I hope that
the bugs can be corrected and thank you for the job provided

 * > since the last version I don’t like the builder
 * Sorry. We’re trying hard to iterate and build a better product.
 * > I do not understand the interest, the system before was good.
 * The course builder was originally written nearly 3 years ago. It wasn’t built
with the future in mind and in the next few months we’re planning a lot of new
features to be added to LifterLMS which I could not add to the course builder
I wrote 3 years ago. It was short sighted. We’re always improving and this is
a huge step towards a much much better interface. I’m sorry that the vision is
not clear but I promise these changes were made in order to ultimately provide
you and the rest of our users with a better product.
 * > If I go through the builder the url newlesson is automatically added and it
   > needs to be changed by hand.
 * This is the way the builder always worked.

 * I was stupid. I had *no idea* how important this was to our users. I removed
the feature because I was personally convinced that this was a useless feature
and workflow and I was DEAD WRONG. Last night I built the first iteration of
the “Add Existing Lesson” feature back to the builder. By tomorrow or Friday
at the latest that will be deployed. This will allow you to create a lesson and
then add it to the course the way you’re used to.
 * I made a mistake. I am sorry about that. I try to understand how our users use
LifterLMS but the reality is that I don’t know our users as well as I thought
I did. I appreciate you taking the time to leave this feedback as it helps me
have a better grasp of how people are using our product.
 * > I love LifterLMS but not at all that builder that seems useless.
 * I think useless is a pretty harsh criticism and I disagree with you but, BUT,
I hear you. All I can say is I’m sorry and that I’m working on adding back in
   the removed feature.
 * In the meantime, if you cannot work with LifterLMS as it is, I’d recommend rolling
back to the last version that you liked. Keep an eye out for future releases.
 * As a final note: we will continue to iterate and improve LifterLMS. The course
builder will be the future hub of LifterLMS. I don’t know how to better cast
the vision that we have mapped out internally but we’re going to be moving more
and more features into the course builder. Why? Because I find it slow and tiresome
to be creating certificates, achievements, lessons, emails, and engagements from
that many different screens. I have a vision of a much cleaner and smoother and
faster interface where all of these currently disparate pieces of LifterLMS are
   unified into a single interface.
 * That’s where we’re headed. It’ll be another year, at least, before that vision
is fully realized but this is the first step. I hope you’re willing to stick
with us to get there because I know when we do you’ll be stoked.
 * Thanks again,

 * thank you very much for your reply.
 * I have a hard time understanding how the plugin works.
    Why are lessons and quizzes
detached from courses? We could have built a course with his lessons and quizzes.
Is it to be able to use the same lesson on several courses? If I understood correctly,
we are obliged to go through the builder to construct a lesson?
 * Thanks for making this plugin.
I will try to cope with the bug fixes. PS : sorry
for my english, it is translate from french by Google our friend 😉

 * > Why are lessons and quizzes detached from courses?
 * Many reasons. For one: when courses are deleted the lessons remain. Other reasons
could be that you’ve removed a lesson from a course manually or removed a quiz
   from a lesson.
 * I’m trying to build a better interface so that this doesn’t happen as it usually
   happens accidentally.
 * > Is it to be able to use the same lesson on several courses?
 * No. Lessons belong only to one course. If you want to use the same lesson multiple
times you can duplicate it’s content to a new lesson.
 * > If I understood correctly, we are obliged to go through the builder to construct
   > a lesson?
 * Not as of the latest version of LifterLMS. You can now create lessons first and
use the “add existing lessons” function to attach them to a course
