# Built-in duplication functionality for WordPress content

 * This is a request for future versions of WordPress to have a built-in feature
   to duplicate pages and posts.
 * Clients have requested this a lot from us and unfortunately without installing
   a plugin this is not possible.

 * That’s not really something that should be in WordPress though I can see that
   being added via a plugin. The reason is that this idea is an edge case. Almost
   all of the WordPress users wouldn’t want or use this idea. Duplicate content 
   on web sites is considered Not Good™.

 * What about websites built on plugins using drag and drop like Visual Composer
   or Ultimatum? Duplicating a page would allow for the user to continue using the
   structure without having to figure out the settings, categories, templates etc.
   that they need to set.
 * Although I do see your point, this could always be part of those website builder
   plugins.
