That’s certainly possible. I probably wouldn’t stray from CSV, because most DB systems can output data into that format. But I could add a row to the CSV format with the team ID. What kind of format are you thinking of? Can you e-mail me a sample file?

taking as example my situation, I have a lot of teams to upload and several players for each team. So if it would be possible to upload both things via CSV then it would be simply magic!
– one file with the list of Teams and corresponding ID
e.g. ID | Team name
– a second file, like the one that you created, but simply adding one more column with the Team ID (“ID”) available from the first file.
In this way, especially for those people who have a lot of data to upload, it would be much easier, at least imho 🙂

Thanks for the information. That magic is certainly possible. It won’t make it into the next release (v 3.0 this weekend) but I’ll add it to the upgrade list for consideration with the next release.
