Bulk Optimatization will replace old images with optimized ones?

    Hi,
    before trying my bulk optimatization I only want to be sure that i understand well the process of bulk optimatization of all my images in WordPress Media library. Will it replace all old images with the optimized ones, so that my website then automatically starts working with optimized data? Or is there something more I have to do with the images/website?

    Hi Wlashack,

    that is correct, the optimized images will automatically replace the original images throughout your website. You do not need to manually change the old images to the optimized ones, our plugin handles that automatically.

    N.B. Doing so also mean that you will loose your un-optimized image. If you want to keep the original un-optimized image, make sure to make a copy of it somewhere on your computer first!
