happening.. * Also, midway through before it stalls completely it will say temporary failure several times that will flash on the screen for a few seconds and then it will resume until stalling…. * trying and trying the whole time. In the style sheet via search, I did not find max_execution. I have yet to try and find the php file via bluehost.. You most certainly won’t find max_execution_time in your stylesheet. I also checked the lossy optimization under the cloud settings. * it hasn’t stalled yet but for the last 15 minutes its been on the same pic with the temporary error coming up 5 times…. * how long You have a ton of rather large PNG files on your site that should be JPGs instead. The one it is stalling on right now is 741kb, and that is rather large in the world of PNG files. The fix would be to up the execution time rather high, 300+ ought to do it. * However, a quick check in the logs for squatting-2.png shows that it is only making it through the original image and a few resizes though before it gets cut off, so I think there is something else causing timeouts besides php. Watching the javascript console confirms this, as it returns the error response in about 40 seconds. Also, the raw response looks like this (which is not a standard apache/ php error page as far as I know): * ``` [an error occurred while processing this directive] ``` * So, I there are two options here. First, you could convert a bunch of those images to JPG, but you’ll need to disable all PNG processing when you do those (and I would do them one by one). Anything that is photographic in nature, is going to be better as a JPG. EWWW can only search the wp_posts table to update urls, so take your time, and make sure you know where an image is found so you can check to see if it the url was updated properly. The second would be to check with Bluehost to see how you can get rid of those timeouts, and just optimize the images “as is”.
