# Button Doesn't Work

 * I have a problem with Button module. I put it with a external url in a new tab
   but when you do clic in the button its the same url. For example:
 * – My homepage its [http://www.name.com](http://www.name.com)
 * In the homepage I want to put a button module to external web, for example:
 * – [http://www.anothername.com](http://www.anothername.com)
 * But the url I have its:
 * – [http://www.name.com/www.anothername.com](http://www.name.com/www.anothername.com)
 * How I can put the external link in a button to solve it?
 * Thx.

 * Have you added the URL as:
 * `www.website.com`
 * or
 * `http://www.website.com`
 * –
 * http:// is required, not specific to LC, it’s just how HTML works, otherwise 
   it just appends it to the current page’s URL.

 * Hi Livecomposer, I´ve installed the Plugin on my site: [http://www.aconfronto.org/](http://aconfronto.org/)
   and when i try to click to “activate editor” it´s show me only a white page and
   in the url shows “aconfronto.org/?dslc=active” but anything else.
