Button shortcodes not taking effect

I’m trying to change button colors using shortcodes.

For the button shortcodes, I made them all transparent except “Button Gradient Top Color” and “Button Gradient Bottom Color” which are red.

As you can see the buttons are not red!

The colors are saved in that I can logout out and log back and the settings are still red but they are not red in the preview or the live page.

I’m using the latest version of everything.

UPDATE:

I’m using a child theme of the evolve theme. I edit the button shortcodes when the child theme is active and they have no effect. I then switch to the stock evolve theme, and the button codes take effect there!
