# Button speed

 * I noticed that when clicking “Follow” it usually takes a few seconds for the 
   action to take effect. I’m assuming this is probably a function of hosting / 
   database / additional plugins, etc. Is there any way to speed this up within 
   the plugin itself?

 * There is a fade-out, fade-in animation that occurs when you click on the button.
   I suppose that animation could be removed.
 * The other issues you state are more of a factor than the animation though.
