Buttons in Header

Hi,

I am building my website on the inFocus 2.9 theme. I have driven myself crazy trying to figure out how to add Buttons to the Header. I am fine with the horizontal navigation menu and everything else in the header, but I’d like, for example, to add two Buttons:

Button 1: “Login” – which actually would just be a link to an external Log-in page.

Button 2: “Free Trial” – which would allow to user to open a new tab or page that links to our Free Trial page.

Any guidance would be greatly, greatly, greatly appreciated. I am new to WordPress and coding and have ventured into some of the code, which is completely foreign to me.
