# Cache exceptions doesn't work

 * Great plugin, excellent performance, two issues…
 * Cache exceptions does not work for me. In the ‘Cache exceptions’ tab I select
   the ‘Exclude home’ option but the home url is cached anyway.
 * Further the sitemap_index.xml generated by the Yoast SEO plugin is cached by 
   WP_FFPC. That means that the sitemap doesn’t update when a new blog is posted.
 * How to exclude both home and sitemap from caching?

 * May I ask how did you verify that it gets cached?
 * Because I’m trying to reproduce it, but apparently, it’s working for me.
 * for the yoast thing: try replacing the default
    `^/wp-` with `^/wp-|^/sitemap_`
   in `Don't cache following URL paths` under `Cache exceptions` tab.
 * I also would like to suggest to try some things before asking for the solution
   next time.
