# Cache issue

 * It seems like the pageviews cache still needs to be manually emptied every day
   or else the stats won’t be up to date.
 * The other thing is that even then – after I empty cache – there are lot of things
   left(about 1000-1500 new orphaned options from this plugin every day!)

 * There is nothing wrong in your screenshots, the values are kept on WordPress 
   even if the date is expired, there is no auto-purge on WordPress, but when the
   value is fetched if it’s expired it will fetch a new one.
 * So:
 * 1. It’s perfectly normal if you have a lot of values in your database.
    2. it’s
   dangerous to have a low cache expiration and to clear the cache often because
   you can hit the API limit faster.
 * Regarding _transient_timeout_* values I’ve updated 1.3.6 to clear these values
   but it’s not really an issue.
