    Hello,

I noticed that when updating a product via the quick edit, the cached pages are not purged.

For example, a tag is added. If it is done through the product page, then the cache of various pages is purged. However, if the edit is being made via the “quick edit” option, then corresponding page caches (eg tag/category pages) are not purged.

Note: I am using page cache with Disk: Enhanced

    Thank you!

    Hello @lyk-1

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!
I was not able to replicate this, however, let me do more tests and I’ll get back to you.

Just to clarify, you want to purge the cache for all the pages associated with the tag/category that is updated?

    Thanks!

    Hello @vmarko,

we have a very simple page (let’s call it foo) that basically has a woocommerce shortcode that simply shows the products of a specific tag.

The page cache is set to purge pages upon new posts/updates.

When we add the tag via product edit, the page cache for page foo is purged and the page shows the added product.

When we do the same but adding the tag via the quick edit, the foo page cache is not purge and the old page is returned.

    Thank you!

    Hello @lyk-1

    Thank you for your feedback.
We are testing this and possibly the hook that is used to update this with quick edit is not firing the cache purge.
I’ve shared this to the dev team and once I’ll share more information once we are able to confirm this

    Thanks!
