 * First, let me just say what a fantastic job you’ve done with this app/plugin.
 * But, for me, though I would love to go with the paid subscription plan when the
trial expires, there are several issues that make it rather problematic.
 * I had the usual issues of getting the mobile version coming on the desktop browser.
I was using Siteground’s own caching apps for wordpress and their own server
side cache, neither of which allow for a list of user agents.
 * However, after having turned off both cache systems, I’m still getting ‘cached
data’ on the mobile browser, even after deleting the mobile browser’s cache too.
I also disabled the app and re-enabled via the website user interface.
 * So, after no luck at all, I disabled and re-enabled the app in WordPress. Then,
the data updated, but then I was back to having to reload the icons etc. But
as soon as I put the API key in, it reverted back once again to an old version
of the site (site is under development), and this was with all caches switched
   off and browser caches cleaned.
 * Not only that, but without any caches on at all, after re-enabling, it still
called the mobile version to the desktop browser.
 * This app has such promise! I hope this gets sorted out.

 * Hey [@helsinki](https://wordpress.org/support/users/helsinki/),
 * As per our private conversation on [feedback@appticles.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/caching-problems-update-problems-cross-platform-problems/feedback@appticles.com?output_format=md)
I understand that you figured it out, right? Could you please explain what you
did for other users to know if they bump into the same issue?
 * Appreciated!

 * Here is a quick low down on my issues and how I resolved them.
 * The mobile app is basically a ‘reader’, so it’s taking information from afeed
from the WordPress installation. That means that some things update automatically
and some don’t. The featured image doesn’t update, deleted posts don’t update.
Synching is supposed to be automatic, but it wasn’t like that for me. To ‘refresh’
the app, disconnect and reconnect on the Appticles website (paid or trial version).
I assume this will work, though you will have to set up all your categories and
their images again (takes a couple of minutes). Settings are saved if you make
it inactive, but if you disconnect the WordPress to try to refresh modified posts,
then you have to set things up again.
 * Just to complicate matters, I called the mobile site through my Desktop browser
by using Chrome developer tools. This isn’t a problem, but it means Chrome caches
the site and the ‘preference’ for the mobile version, and that’s why it calls
the mobile version sometimes, even after caching is switched off. If you clear
cookies and images from browsing history, you can get back to the Desktop version.
 * Just as an addition, I think that commenting is done via facebook but that the
App ID needs to be updated, but I haven’t found out where this is done yet. The
info pages and screenshots say that synching of comments is automatic, but that
   hasn’t been the case yet.
 * I’m still setting up subdomain, so have to wait till I can get back on my web
app to see what’s happening now.
 * The Q&A here does answer a lot of questions that you will come up against, so
give it a good read. Takes a while to get the hang of what’s going on, but it’s
   a worthwhile learning curve.
