• The calendar on the bottom of the website (footer) seems disappeared when I logged out of the admin site. When I logged back in to the admin site, the calendar appears. How do I make the calendar shows consistent?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I’m not able to see the calendar since I’m not logged into your site, but the most likely explanation would be a caching plugin. Most caching plugins do not show logged-in admins the cached versions of pages, so whenever there’s a difference between logged-in and logged-out versions of a page, that’s my first assumption.

If you’re running a caching plugin, try clearing the cache and see if that resolves the issue. Beyond that, I’ll need to see your system report to provide additional support. Please do not post your system report here, as it can sometimes contain sensitive information about your configuration. Instead please use the support request form on our website. Thanks.

thanks for your prompt response. I have submitted the system report in the form you provided me. I have cleared out the cache but the problem is still existed.

Thanks for sending over the system report. I do see that you have a caching plugin installed, so if you haven’t already, please clear that cache and see if it makes a difference.

I have cleared the cache twice already but nothing has changed.

    Here’s the code: [ics_calendar url=”https://www.lodgify.com/01f08a8f-6427-4d0a-897d-6e307ee2c563.ics” view=”month” monthnav=”both” tablebg=”#fffff” whitetext=”true”]

There’s no placeholder for the ICS Calendar output in the HTML on your page (when logged out, as I am). ICS Calendar doesn’t do anything that would cause it to only display for logged in users, so the issue must be with something else on your site. I see you’re using CMB2, Elementor and WPCode Lite; is it possible one of those plugins, or something else, is configured such that the block the calendar is in is only shown to logged in users?

It was working fine before, not sure what changed it. All I did was remove the Elementor Pro plugin yesterday, then the calendar disappeared.

Try reinstalling Elementor Pro and see if it comes back. The calendar was probably contained in a block that is only there if you’re running Elementor Pro. (Elementor has been by far the biggest source of conflicts and display issues like this.)

I removed Elementor Pro because I don’t want to continue with the subscription and have rebuilt the website without using its features. It looks like I have to use Elementor Pro for the menu and the calendar. I just activated the Elementor Pro and everything is working fine now. Thanks for your help!

I’m glad to hear that resolved the issue. ICS Calendar definitely does not require Elementor Pro, but it sounds like the container in your footer that you put the calendar into is dependent on it.
