# Calendar functionality

 * The utility of the current calendar function in Gutenberg is “nearly” useless
   to me for accomplishing my task.
 * Example: I’m posting backfill entries from years ago and clicking to scroll backwards
   60 months is incredibly cumbersome. Please update the calendar in the Editor 
   so I can click a date header that allows me to choose year first and then month
   from that year instead of forcing the user to go back sequentially month by month.

 * I’m looking forward to Gutenberg getting to a point where it’s going to deliver
   on the promise of it being better. While I’m awkward in it right now, the same
   has been true since I used a Commodore VIC 20 and moved to the Amiga or when 
   I was using DOS 5.0 and migrated to Windows 3.0.
 * I’ll be reporting all usability issues I discover and would like to be part of
   the discussion. If you can help my post get there, awesome.
