    Hello, I would like to know if is possible and if is legal to make modifications to the plugin. I would like to show ad banners in a native mobile application doing this natively (no webview). I have an idea about how to get this working. I need to create an API endpoint that increases ad click count by one if the user of the mobile application clicked the ad banner. I would like to try with these modifications but I do not know if this is legal. Can you help me with this, about legal situation?

    AdRotate (Pro) is not capable to show banners in remote applications or anywhere other than inside WordPress.
    There is no API to use and if there was, you won’t need it to increase clicks when people click the advert as that would be handled by the outputting code.

    Anyway, I prefer it if you didn’t, but it’s open source software.
    If you do, read up on the GPL rules and stuff to see what you can and can’t do.

    Also keep in mind that AdRotate is a registered trademark – You can NOT freely use the name for any product or domain.
