 * I upgraded WP yesterday and now I cannot access my dashboard. I wasn’t able to
   access my site at all yesterday (it gave a fatal error).. but that was THANKFULLY
   fixed.
 * Any help would be much appreciated. I looked through the archives and found some
   suggestions that I tried, but it isn’t helping
 * Thanks,
    Corinna

 * Sounds like an issue with the backend. You might want to try reinstalling the
   PHP files from a fresh ZIP. (Backup first since you had trouble in the first
   place.) Also, you might want to make sure that your web server meets the new
   [minimum requirements](http://wordpress.org/about/requirements/).

 * Luckily, the fellow who helped me at my hosting support uses wordpress for himself,
   so he was able to figure out that configurations were wiped clean, I think.
 * I was getting this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp() in /home/corinna/
   public_html/home/wp-blog-header.php on line 16 when I went to [http://www.stamptopia.com](http://www.stamptopia.com)
 * Not a good thing, when I run a tiny direct selling business and I sent out a
   newsletter to my customers telling them to go to my site, eh? Ohh… how Fate and
   I don’t get along!
 * I use Fantastico De Luxe to install and upgrade WP and my hosting service does
   NOT support it.
 * I have no clue what to look for..

 * So I can reinstall wordpress without affecting the databases?

 * Ok – I know these are less than wonderful questions.. but it’s almost a disservice
   to have a webhost install the software for you and then leave you to fend for
   yourself if something messes up. (though the support guy yesterday is a LIFE
   SAVER!!).. (well, blog save)..
 * My silly question: Can I download wordpress and then copy and paste all of the
   php files that are blank or is there configation needed in there?
 * Thanks,
    Corinna
