Title: Cannot access Dashboard Last modified: August 18, 2016 --- # Cannot access Dashboard * Resolved [preachizzle](https://wordpress.org/support/users/preachizzle/) * (@preachizzle) * [20 years, 3 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-access-dashboard/) * Brand new install on a new server, but after I log into WordPress, it gives the error: * “An error occurred while loading [http://127.0.0.1/wp-login.php](http://127.0.0.1/wp-login.php): Connection to host 127.0.0.1 is broken.” (I’m hosting it on my home PC) * However, I can access every other page such as moderation.php, themes.php, etc. It even shows that I am logged into WP, and I am able to update the blog without any issues. * Unfortunately, clicking on the Dashboard link or heading to “[http://127.0.0.1/wp-admin/index.php”](http://127.0.0.1/wp-admin/index.php”); results in the aforementioned error. * Does anyone have any ideas? The memory_limit value in php.ini was set to 8M, so the script would crash each time I tried to log in. Changing the value to 64M and a reboot solved the problem.
