# cannot access install.php in browser

 * I am unable to access install.php in browser , instead it is only beeing downloaded
   by browser.
    But i can access the test file index.html…in the same folder. I 
   can acces this through the IP of the hosting, the domain is not yet redirected
   to this hosting IP. ex : [http://198.211.117.xxx/wp-content/index.html](http://198.211.117.xxx/wp-content/index.html)
   ok in browser [http://198.211.117.xxx/wp-content/install.php](http://198.211.117.xxx/wp-content/install.php)
   not ok (it is just beeing downloaded)
 * Can it be that i can only access this after the redirect of the domain?

   on DigitalOcean. Thank You

 * If you’re being prompted to view the PHP source code, or to download the file,
   this means that your hosting account either doesn’t support PHP or that it has
   PHP support turned off and needs to be activated.
 * I would normally say that you’ll need to talk to your hosting company about this,
   but from what I could see on their site, you’ll have got an unmanged VPS, so 
   it’s up to you and your tech people to gt the server et up correctly. There’s
   probably a few choices that you can have to what the server can run, but that’s
   all up to what you’ve got set up now.

 * thanks for the response, there was a path issue in the local.conf file.
