# Cannot Access the Admin area

 * We cannot access the admin area of our site – opportunitiesforyou.com.ng. When
   we try accessing it we get the response – There has been a critical error on 
   this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. [Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/faq-troubleshooting/)
 * We were able to access the cpanel and the plugins and error logs. This is what
   we found – [08-Apr-2025 04:42:38 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to
   undefined function add_action() in /home/oppor4u/public_html/wp-content/plugins/
   hello.php:69 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in /home/oppor4u/public_html/wp-content/
   plugins/hello.php on line 69.
 * We have disabled the hello in cpanel by renaming it still the problem persists
   and we still cannot get into the admin area.

   I know
   it’s frustrating when you can’t login to your dashboard. I am not sure why the
   hello.php file is inside the plugins folder. I just checked my directory and 
   there has obviously a php file called index.php, but not sure about the hello.
   php file.
 * You can download the file and temporarily remove it. I hope the problem will 
   be solved.
 * Please let me know if the issue still persists.

 * We have deleted the hello.php file and yet the issue remains. We still cannot
   log into the admin or access the admin area. It keeps responding the same
